If you’re reading this, you likely know a dog's love.
We do too.
Dogs teach us to embrace the present, to exercise compassion, to care for nature and the world around us.
And yet, over 12 million US shelter dogs have been euthanized in the past 10 years alone.
12 million. The majority of them were perfectly healthy animals.
We founded Valiant Bones to help solve the canine euthanasia crisis—to support organizations that give life to dogs, providing extraordinary companion animals to people who will love and be loved by them.
We are a purpose-driven business. We value quality, responsibility, and philanthropy over volume.
Our mission is to make straightforward, exceptional products that help us empower (often fragile) regional dog rescues, some of which can spend an average of $1,000 per month to keep a single, healthy dog alive.*
We know that it takes people like you to effect change and bring awareness to the need for supporting canine rescues. We know it takes people like you who understand that some products rise above the status quo.
That’s why the comfortable, breathable webbing used to craft our eco-friendly dog collar and leash is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.
And that's why our goal is to contribute up to 30% of all net proceeds to regional, 501c3 no-kill dog rescues every quarter—and an additional portion of proceeds to 1% for the Planet.
It’s more than just a dog collar.
Be a hero.
Save the planet.
Save a life.
*In expensive metropolitan areas, no-kill shelters like the Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles can spend an average of $1,000 per month, per dog in their care (i.e. they have 80 dogs in their shelter with a monthly overhead of $80,000). We'll be writing more about this on social and our blog in the coming months.
